She talks about her songs that she had to suffer for saying, “I have a harder time enjoying anything if I don’t suffer for it. ‘Nobody Gets Me’ is my goal of like, ‘I can make a ballad’… And then they’re like, ‘This other song that took you 3 seconds to write as a joke, is [doing well].’ I guess I just need—Suffering adds value, always.”
