The Kansas City Chiefs and tight end Noah Gray have reportedly reached an agreement on a three-year, $19.5 million contract extension hours before the NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium Thursday (September 5) night, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
"The #Chiefs and TE Noah Gray reached an agreement on a 3-year contract extension worth 19.5M, source said. He gets a $6M signing bonus and $10M guaranteed at signing," Rapoport wrote on his X account. "Not a household name, but Noah Gray is a jack-of-all trades and incredibly valuable to the #Chiefs on offense and special teams. Now, right before the opener, he gets rewarded in a deal done by agent @jackbechta,"
Gray, 25, primarily served as the No. 2 tight end behind seven-time All-Pro Travis Kelce -- who also signed an extension this offseason -- but was also used as an H-back, as well as a temporary long snapper, in 2023. The former Duke University standout was selected by the Chiefs at No. 162 overall in the fifth-round of the 2021 NFL Draft and started 18 games in 34 total appearances during Kansas City's back-to-back Super Bowl seasons.
Gray enters his fourth NFL season with 63 receptions for 640 yards and four touchdowns, as well as one rushing touchdown.
