Natasha Rothwell may have landed a role in the hit show White Lotus, but her auditions haven't always gone exactly as planned.

The actress and writer appeared on a recent episode of the Las Culturistas podcast for a chat with hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers about her time as Belinda on the hit HBO series, the magic and "Austenian" nature of the beloved movie musical Grease, and their collective experience in the New York City comedy scene.

During the conversation, Rothwell hilariously recalled an audition from when she was younger that left a lasting impression even decades later, detailing what she called her "most embarrassing moment" while auditioning for a role in her high school production of My Fair Lady.

"I decided to learn sign language to the song that I was going to sing to because I didn't have confidence in my pipes, and so I forgot the [signed lyrics] halfway through singing it," she said. However, the show must go on. "But my hands were already extended and moving, so it was just interpretive dance. I don't even remember what I was singing, but I just remember I was just like moving my hands and I left sobbing."

Fortunately for Rothwell, she still landed the part despite the unfortunate audition, calling it a "clusterf--- of beauty."

On Las Culturistas, Rogers and Yang "get into the hottest pop-culture moments of the day" and even hang out with special guests like Ariana Grande, Tate McRae, Charli XCX and Cynthia Erivo, to name a few. Check out more episodes of the Las Culturistas podcast at iHeart.com.
