Noah Cyrus is weighing in on the alleged drama within her family.

In a new interview with People, the 25-year-old July musician recently addressed the reported strained relationships in her family following the 2022 divorce of her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus. After their split, rumors circulated that there was a rift within the Cyrus family, which includes her siblings Brandi, Trace, Miley and Braison. Now, Noah is setting the record straight.

"Everybody's great and loves each other," she said. "I think when you grow up with that being normal — things being public — that it doesn't quite reach you. At the end of the day, this is a family, and that's really it: just going through normal family stuff."

The singer-songwriter added that the speculation may be "draining" to hear but that she and the rest of her family try to keep their real lives separate from public opinion.

"I keep myself quite separated from any interest or 'drama' with the family. The one thing that's connected us with the entire world is music, and that's what's the most important to us," she said. "Yeah, it emotionally is draining, but it doesn't hurt us or touch us. It's something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself."

While rumors of family drama ignited after Billy Ray and Tish's split, they have since moved on with new relationships. The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer married singer Firerose in 2023 before divorcing the following year, and he recently unveiled a new romance with actress Elizabeth Hurley.

Tish has been married to Dominic Purcell since August 2023, which also allegedly caused strife with Noah after reports circulated she had been previously romantically involved with the 55-year-old Prison Break actor prior to his relationship with Tish. The mother-daughter duo seemingly squashed the speculation after reuniting last summer.
