Cal’s Angels mission is granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. Cal’s Angels grants wishes to over 200 kids at Chicagoland hospitals each year, in addition to extensive work to fund critical pediatric cancer research being conducted at hospitals in Chicago and beyond. The organization relies on funding from donors and supporters. Every September, Cal’s Angels makes a positive impact on the pediatric cancer community through education, advocacy, and collective action.
GO GOLD!
Every Friday through September high schools throughout Illinois will host a “Gold-Out” football game. At each game a local family battling pediatric cancer will be honored and have the opportunity to flip the coin at the start of the game. Athletes, cheerleaders and fans will be adorned in gold apparel, provided by Cal’s Angels.
