Goober -- Goober is a fan favorite at our shelter. He's the perfect mix of extremely handsome and super sweet. He's young, around a year and a half old. He's a playful boy but also a gentle giant. He does well with keeping his kennel clean at our shelter. Goober is dog-social!
Gabriel -- Gabriel was found outside by a Good Samaritan in rough shape. He was likely dealing with severe heat exhaustion and had no strength to stand on his own. When he was found, he couldn't stop wagging his tail. Gabriel is a sweet 7-year-old boy who is ready to sunbathe in his own home.
Short Rib -- Five-year-old Short Rib's favorite activity is snuggling and catching a snooze. He is the definition of a lover. He's a gentle boy who loves to lie outside and soak up the sun. He was dealing with skin allergies when he first came in, and has done so much better in our care. If a couch potato is what you need in life, look no further than Short Rib.
Romaine -- Romaine's story began after being found outside an apartment, likely after being hit by a car. He was dealing with paralysis and was unable to stand on his own. With the help of a wheelchair, he was able to navigate around our Low-Cost Vet Clinic. They worked with him constantly through physical therapy, and we saw his strength continue to return. Today, our three-year-old Romaine can now walk independently. He is a sweet boy who loves affection from our staff, and we adore him immensely.
Dipper -- Taking one look at Dipper, it's hard not to fall in love with that face. Despite the constant sad face emoji, this three-year-old is a happy, wiggly boy. Dipper has greeted all of our staff with happy tail wags, looking for affection. Happily, we showered him with affection. Dipper is dog-social!
Laura -- Laura is currently one of our longest residents at our shelter, having been there for over 250 days. Laura spends her days in one of our offices watching cat TV. This is not an exaggeration. She sits in front of the TV and has a blast watching the birds on the screen. Laura is estimated to be a little over ten and a half years old and is diabetic, but does exceptionally well with taking her insulin. She's a sweetheart who loves to relax. Laura would do well as the only pet in the house!
Miroku/Naraku -- Miroku and Naraku are our bonded pair of friends who must be adopted together. They do everything together and love each other so much. They love roaming our cat room and saying hi to every cat they see. They love finding toys around the room to play with. We're obsessed with the cute chirps Naraku does when he walks around the room. They are cat-friendly!
Odin -- All of our staff who greet Odin are met with so much love. He's a happy nine-year-old boy who loves to love and be loved. He enjoys a good snack, so he hopes you have some. Odin was born with an eye issue, so he only has one eye, but he doesn't let that slow him down in the least! He is FIV+
Abracadabra -- Abracadabra is another long stay at our shelter, closing in on 200 days. She's estimated to be older than a year and a half. She adores our catio. As much as she can, she loves being outside in the sun, watching and listening to everything. She's curious and playful. With proper introductions, she would likely do well with other cats in the house!
